In the Spring of 1984, Ocean City Carpet & Tile was founded by Paul J. Flynn, opening his business in the town where he was born and raised. Paul has over 35 years in the flooring business. In the early 1970's, Paul began as an estimator and flooring contractor for Stainton's Department Store. Paul loved the flooring business, and with the knowledge and experience he gained, he opened his own flooring store. Originally, the store was located at 1059 Asbury Avenue, but moved to the present location as the business grew. In addition to all types of floor coverings, the business also expanded to include Hunter Douglas window treatments, counter-tops & kitchen and bath remodeling.

Ocean City Carpet & Tile is the only family owned and operated flooring business in the local area. With over 28 years of experience in flooring, Paul with his son Steven operates the day to day business including estimates and sales. As a family, we can guarantee personalized service and attention. Our intention is to serve our customers with our extensive knowledge and experience, and provide products that fit the specific needs of each of our customers, whatever the decorating style or budget.
